NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2016—Goode Partners LLC, the New York-based private equity firm, announced that it made a strategic growth investment in Silver Diner, Inc., operator of the successful Silver Diner, Silver Diner Airport and Silver restaurants that bring an innovative menu to the classic American diner. The investment will help fund the company’s geographic expansion and accelerate growth.

Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, the company owns and operates 15 total locations through two related concepts based on the classic American diner. Founded in 1989, the company has transformed its Silver Diner concept to bring customers a high quality farm-to-table dining experience in the classic American diner setting. The company currently operates 13 Silver Diner restaurants across New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia and one Silver Diner Airport at BWI. In addition to the Silver Diner concept, the company opened its first Silver restaurant in September 2015 in order to bring more densely populated metropolitan markets a more refined interpretation of the diner setting and menu.
